Frame.io V4 Arrives, Delivering Huge Cloud Workflow Improvements for Photo and Video

Back at NAB 2024 in April, Adobe and Frame.io revealed Frame.io V4 (version four), promising significant improvements to the cloud-based platform. While some of these features were available in beta for select users, they're available to everyone now. Plus, new Camera to Cloud partnerships brings Frame.io Camera to Cloud workflows to even more photographers and videographers.

Mint Rollei 35AF Review: Style Over Substance

Pentax's popular Pentax 17 showed the market that there is demand for a new-production analog film camera. It wasn't clear if this risky venture would float, but the Pentax 17 has found a loyal following and now we have another player ready to make waves: Mint's Rollei 35AF.

The iFootage Shark Slider Nano II Integrates DJI Ronin S Gimbals

iFootage announced a Shark Slider developed in conjunction with DJI that completely overhauls the previous design. The Shark Slider Nano II integrates the DJI Ronin S series of gimbals into a seamless tracking workflow and can be controlled via a touch screen or a smartphone app, allowing quick and easy operational synchronization of both the gimbal and the slider.

Smaller is Better: My Tiny Wooden Wet Plate Camera

When it comes to camera’s they can come in all shapes and sizes. I want to tell the story of this little, as I call it “Klein Special”, wood box wet plate camera made by my good friend Kevin Klein in Valley City, North Dakota. Coincidently “Klein” means “small” in German. Something that I was unaware of at the time of giving the camera its name.
