Lens roadmaps are very popular among photographers because they provide helpful information about their favorite camera company's plans. This can ensure that photographers know if they should buy a new lens now or save their money for an unreleased optic. Lens roadmaps also generate a lot of buzz and excitement.

Nikon Updates Z Lens Roadmap, Adds 85mm, 400mm and 600mm Primes

In addition to announcing the new-and-improved Z6 II and Z7 II full-frame mirrorless cameras, Nikon also released an updated Z-Mount lens roadmap this week. The new lineup includes three prime lenses we haven't seen before: an 85mm (probably f/1.2), a 400mm (probably f/2.8), and a 600mm (probably f/4).

Canon 2021 Lens Roadmap Leaked: 16 New RF Lenses On the Way

Fuji Releases Bokehlicious Updated Lens Roadmap for 2015

Late last night, Fuji released an updated version of its lens roadmap, switching some things around, adding a lens to the lineup, naming the 'ultra-wide angle lens' from the previous roadmap, and otherwise letting X-Mount shooters know what they're in for glass-wise through the end of 2015.
