Not only is it wonderfully small and lightweight for a super telephoto optic of its kind, but it delivers absolutely excellent image quality with almost no compromises alongside fast autofocus and helpful image stabilization.

This 600 millimeter lens is as sharp as an F6.3 lens could possibly be, and is more than capable of getting animal photographers some really fabulous results from a very long range while being very easy to carry around with you.
Despite some of its imperfections, I can quite happily recommend this one.
Think carefully about whether or not you really need F1.2, an 85mm F1.4 lens will do a very similar job here for a lower price, but if 85mm is what you want and you want that extra kick in your backgrounds, then this thing does of course come highly recommended.
At such low price, the lens still definitely comes recommended.
The lens is certainly expensive, but it's very high quality and an absolute blast to use. So, if this is the kind of optic you're on the market for and you think you'll use it enough to get value for money out of it, then it does come highly recommended.
[I]f you own a lower resolution Sony camera, like 24 or 33 megapixel, then you'll be reasonably happy.
I will say this though, those aperture and focus rings are a bit fiddly to use, although that is ultimately just a necessity of its small design.
All of that to say, though, as you might have guessed, the R6 V is a phenomenal tool for video makers who also want a very capable stills camera, and obviously, it has to come highly recommended.
For stills photographers I can recommend it, better options are available for video makers though.
[I]f you've got a lot of cash to spend and you need telephoto for almost any application, then this is easily one of the best options to go for and it comes highly recommended.
So this does of course come recommended.
I can recommend it to anyone who doesn't need wide angles or who has a separate wide-angle lens already that they're happy to use in conjunction with it.
The Sony a7 V is obviously an excellent hybrid camera for enthusiasts.
[I]f you like 35mm and you want to go big, then this is the Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.2 LAB FE lens for you.
[A]fter thinking about it, I did decide to highly recommend this one this time, because its small size, a bonus feature in itself, makes up for that particular optical defect in my opinion.
So it definitely comes recommended.
I checked the test results from its competitors on my hard drive and this is indeed the sharpest 35mm lens I have tested so far.
It's generally a nice optic to work with which offers very decent results for the money you're paying. Although it's certainly surprisingly big and heavy.
This thing is just so fantastically capable for pretty much any kind of video and stills photography work, even including sports photography.
It has a few other image quality problems and its rather dark maximum aperture means that this really is best considered to be a decent quality kit lens to get you started with your camera, but to be moved on from when you can afford something a bit better and a bit brighter.
[T]his is a comparatively good super zoom lens optically.
I think the Thypoch Simera 75mm f/1.4 ASPH will find an audience among photographers who like a more tactile shooting experience again, like Leica M-mount camera owners, and who are looking for images with character rather than pin sharpness.
[C]onsidering the lens's price point, this is more or less exactly the performance I was expecting out of it.
