This 600 millimeter lens is as sharp as an F6.3 lens could possibly be, and is more than capable of getting animal photographers some really fabulous results from a very long range while being very easy to carry around with you.

To my mind, the Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS redefines the genre of ‘great white’ super-telephoto prime lenses. Compared to others of its breed, it’s incredibly compact, lightweight and easy to live with, while retaining some seriously high-end handling exotica.
