B&H’s Holiday Deals Begin: Save On Cameras, Lenses, Macs, and More

B&H launched its Holiday Deal Zone this week, giving you an early jump on upcoming Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holiday deals. We have a potpourri this week, with storage, memory cards, cameras and lenses, and computers.

Storage and Memory Cards

SanDisk 2TB Portable SSD V3

As photographers know all too well, flash storage prices have gone haywire, affecting all sorts of electronics, including SSDs. The $149 Holiday Savings on the SanDisk 2TB Portable SSD V3 helps numb the pain a bit, bringing the price down to $299.99. While it’s not super fast, sporting a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface and speeds up to 1,000 MB/s, it could work very well as backup storage or a working drive for photographers.

By the way, the 1TB version is $140 off right now, bringing it to $249.99. The extra $50 for the 2TB one is probably worth it, but it’s another option.

SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro CFexpress 4.0 Type B Memory Card

Another SanDisk storage product, this time a 128GB CFexpress 4.0 Type B memory card, is $40 off right now. That brings it down to $199.99. It’s VPG400 and VPG800 certified.

SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro UHS-II SDXC Memory Card

For photographers still rocking SD cards, the SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro UHS-II SDXC card is $129 off, bringing it down to $289.99.

Sony 128GB SF-G Tough UHS-II SDXC Memory Card

Sony’s 128GB Tough Series UHS-II SD card is on sale, too. With $100 in holiday savings, it’s now $243.

Mac Deals

Quite a few Apple computer deals are going on right now. The company just released some new computers this week, including the redesigned touchscreen MacBook Pro, but that doesn’t make older Macs any less good.

The 15-inch MacBook Air with M5 is $200 off through the end of the day tomorrow, November 7, bringing it down to $1,499.

The 13-inch MacBook Air with M5 is $160 off, with no noted end date for the deal. It’s $1,139 after the savings.

Apple’s new Mac mini with M6, which is a great choice for photographers, is $150 off until the end of the day tomorrow. With upgraded memory (24GB) and storage (512GB), that brings it to $1,149. That’s a lot of computer for $1,149.

Although it doesn’t have a touchscreen, the “older” MacBook Pro with M5 Pro was released earlier this year and remains excellent. A 14-inch model with M5 Pro (15-core), 24GB of unified memory, and a 1TB SSD is $200 off until 4:45 PM ET today, November 6. After savings, it’s $2,289.

A 16-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro (18-core CPU, 20-core GPU), 48GB of unified memory, and a 1TB SSD is $300 off for the holidays. After savings, it’s $3,289. No, it doesn’t have a touchscreen OLED, but it remains a powerful and relatively affordable choice at the high end of Apple’s MacBook Pro lineup.

Lenses

Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary

For APS-C shooters, Sigma makes some of the best APS-C lenses. A particularly popular one, the 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary, is $160 off, bringing it down to $499. It offers a 27-75mm equivalent focal length, great for many situations. It is available for Canon RF, Fujifilm X, L-Mount, and Sony E.

Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD

Another great APS-C zoom lens, the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD, is $100 off. With these savings, it's $599 and available for Sony E and Fujifilm X. This 25.5-105mm equivalent lens is $100 more expensive on the Fujifilm X mount, so even though both are $100 off, the Fujifilm one is $699.

Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2

On the full-frame side, the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 is a popular option. It gives up a bit on the wide end compared to a traditional 24-70mm f/2.8, but it's relatively lightweight, compact, and affordable. It's $200 off right now on E-mount, bringing it down to $699. The Nikon Z-mount version is $100 off and $749.

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN OS Sports

Sigma's 70-200mm f/2.8 provides a compelling alternative to first-party 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses. It delivers excellent quality, albeit in a somewhat larger package, and is just $1,549 after a $100 holiday discount. It's available for Sony E-mount and L-Mount.

Camera Deals

Canon EOS R6 Mark III

PetaPixel's Camera of the Year 2025, the outstanding Canon EOS R6 Mark III, is experiencing a very rare discount right now. With $200 in holiday savings, the camera comes down to $2,599. It's a great camera at a slightly better price.

Sony a7 IV

While the Sony a7 V is a meaningful improvement over the Sony a7 IV, that doesn't mean the a7 IV is bad; far from it. It's great. It's also $1,998 after a $500 holiday savings.

Canon EOS R5

The Canon EOS R5 II might be Canon's best overall mirrorless camera, but the original R5 is no slouch. It still offers 45-megapixel resolution, great image quality, and a tried-and-true Canon ergonomic experience. It's $700 off right now, which brings it down to $2,599. That's $1,400 less than the R5 II.

Canon EOS R5 II

Speaking of the R5 II, it's on sale, too. It's $400 off for the holidays, bringing the price down to $3,999.
