Sigma has finally released a pro-level, $1,499, 70-200mm f/2.8 for mirrorless cameras and has proven that it can at least compete with the other lenses available, but the market is getting a little crowded and the competition is fierce.

So yeah, image quality wise, this lens is incredibly impressive, especially when we're comparing it to the G Master II, which is obviously the reigning champion of 70-200 millimeter lenses on the Sony system.

  • OpticalLimits 9/10

The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN OS Sports can do 95% of the Sony GM II lens at almost half the price - if you can live without tele-converters (in E-mount).

This Sigma lens is great, a nice improvement over the older version for digital SLRs, and it definitely comes recommended, but there are just one or two little flies in the ointment to be aware of here.

It's been a long time coming, but thankfully the new Sigma 70-200mm zoom for mirrorless has been well worth the wait - this is one of the best 70-200mm lenses that we've ever tested, and is especially appealing for L-mount camera owners.

This is a very good lens, the optical stabilization inside of it is also really good. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good 70-200mm; this may be the one to pick up, especially if you're a Leica user, Sigma user, or Panasonic user.

  • THAT ICELANDIC GUY.

The Sony it's a lot more expensive and I just like want to again emphasize on the fact that I do think the Sigma is a fantastic lens. It's razor sharp and just it handled everything that I threw at it like pretty damn good.
