This Hong Kong Travel Film is Filled with Creative Camera Tricks
Traveling filmmaker Brandon Li has been chronicling his travels around the world over the last several years through short films. His latest one, titled “Hong Kong Strong,” is one that’s filled with creative camera techniques and editing tricks.
“My new travel film features a myriad of experimental techniques, from the Hitchcock Dolly Zoom effect to invisible wipes, hyperlapse, and crazy cross-cutting between many scenes to create a seamless multi-threaded narrative,” Li tells PetaPixel. “It’s a Pandora’s box of editing tricks, all to create an authentic sense of what it means to be in Hong Kong.”
