Nikon unveiled the Z9 back in October to a world desperate for updates about their new top shelf model after months of teasers. This was eagerly awaited, not least to see how it compared to Sony's blockbuster Alpha 1 and because it beat Canon to the proverbial flagship punch.
Let's take a look at some of the data with regard to the latest trends in camera gear buying, trading, and selling. Specifically, we'll take a look at what lenses hold on to their value better: primes or zooms.

As the majority of camera manufacturers move away from the SLR type cameras and start producing mirrorless systems, one company continues to hold on to the past. Pentax has now in multiple statements confirmed that it will not be producing a mirrorless camera and will continue to develop SLR cameras.
When Nikon announced its Z Series full-frame mirrorless camera system last year, it called the Z mount "the new light that Nikon will use to pioneer the future." In its new push toward mirrorless dominance, Nikon will reportedly be ending at least 1/3 of its F-mount DSLR models.
Fujifilm killed off the last peel-apart instant film when it discontinued its FP-100C back in 2016 despite an effort from Impossible founder Florian Kaps to keep it alive.
