This watch has a maximum aperture of f/2. Wait... What? That's right, this novelty watch for uber photo geeks by The Unemployed Philosophers Guild has f-stop numbers on its face instead of the 12 hours used by normal people. If you're ready to geek-out your wrist, it's available in their online shop for $36.
Did you know you can turn your DSLR into a pinhole camera by using a body cap with a tiny hole in it? Photojojo just started selling body caps converted for this purpose in their store, but if you don't want to pay $50 for them to bust a hole in a cap for you, there's a neat tutorial over at Photocritic teaching you how to make your own.

We featured a Nikon belt buckle here last month, and now here's one by Canon. It's a limited edition Canon F-1 belt buckle made by Lewis Buckles in Chicago for Canon in the 1970s. Charles Eves won the one above for $3 in an eBay auction. The seller was a former Canon salesman that was awarded the belt buckle for his high sales.
Apparently babies can't resist a good checkboard pattern. ShutterBuddy is a camera attachment that surrounds your camera or lens with a checkerboard pattern, causing babies to stare uncontrollably at your camera (whether in fear or fascination, we have no idea). You can order your own for $15 through the ShutterBuddy website, or you can spend some time creating a do-it-yourself version by printing out or drawing your own checkboard pattern.
Photojojo just added the "Mini Model Camera" to their store. This is a 1/6 scale miniature model DSLR system that actually allows you to swap the tiny lenses around. It's definitely a cute and unique gift, but it comes at a no-so-miniature price -- the 1.5 inch camera and three lenses are priced at $28.
Here's a terrific "Doh! Why didn't I think of that?" idea shared by Flickr user Ralph Odenwälder in his photostream: create a set of matching Polaroid photographs for an awesome do-it-yourself memory card game that you can either give someone as a present or play yourself!
Check out this solid brass Nikon belt buckle, a fusion of masculinity and photo geekiness.
Kate received this awesome miniature Polaroid One-Step camera as a present from her friend Pia. What's neat is that the camera came with a collection of baby Polaroid pictures, with actual photographs printed on them!
Well... finally! A Nikon coffee mug has finally appeared on the Internets, months after the web went crazy over Canon look-alike mugs and cups. The black 24-70mm thermos coffee cup comes with a nifty gold box and drawstring bag to carry it around in, and sets you back $23 over at 100milligrams.
Hatcams are a new line of custom baseball caps that have an industry standard 1/4 x 20 tripod mount thread built into the brim of the hat, providing a cheap way to create "helmet cam" videos. While the hat is designed for pocket camcorders like the Flip camcorder, any camera designed to work with a tripod should be mountable. Throw in a remote shutter release, and you'll have a weird setup for point-of-view photography as well.
LoveLeeSoaps on Etsy has some neat soap for photography enthusiasts. You can get 5 mini bars or one large one.
I've been dying to take a look at the Canon lens coffee thermos and mug since I first wrote about it back in the beginning of March, but didn't want to buy a set just to take a look. Luckily for me, the nice people over at canonmugs.com sent me some samples to check out and play around with. In this post I'll be sharing some photographs and thoughts about these unique items.
Here's a unique way to keep your photographs close at hand (literally): USB flash drive cufflinks. Removing the lid on each cufflink reveals at 2GB flash drive, for 4 gigs of total storage. They're available in gunmetal and gold finishes, and can be customized with an engraving. Sadly, these novelty items are usually absurdly expensive, and these cufflinks are no exception -- the pair costs a whopping $195.

The web has been abuzz the past couple days over the collectible L-lens look-alike coffee mugs Canon was passing out at the Olympics. Everyone is asking whether they'll be available to the general public.
Personalized mugs with your mug on it, photo blankets, and good ol' fashioned framed pictures are all fine and dandy, but they can get old fast.
