3 Legged Thing’s Wrapz is a Self-Adhesive Wrap for Photo Gear
British tripod and photo accessory company 3 Legged Thing has introduced Wrapz, which is, as the stylized name suggests, a protective wrap for camera equipment.
Wrapz is a self-adhesive reusable cloth wrap designed to protect “a plethora of precious items.” 3 Legged Thing’s Wrapz is made from an adhesive polymer with water-resistant “nano-technology.” The wraps include four distinct layers: hook, loop, padding, and waterproofing, per 3 Legged Thing.

With three sizes to choose from, they’re a perfect fit for all your gadgets,” says 3 Legged Thing’s Chief Operating Officer, Stuart Boston. “We’ve jazzed them up with unique 3LT designs, so they’re as stylish as they are functional. Whether you’re traveling or packing your photo gear, Wrapz have got you covered.”
Wrapz is available in three sizes (12 x 12 inches, 15 x 15 inches, and 18 x 18 inches), and 3LT says they can be used to protect camera bodies, lenses, filters, video monitors, small LED lights, and other similarly sized items like tablets and handheld gaming consoles.
3 Legged Thing cites an uptick in the use of self-adhesive wraps as a motivating factor in the development and launch of Wrapz. PetaPixel has seen similar items before, including from Spinn.Design in 2022 and again last year. Of course, Spinn.Design was not the first company to create such a product. Bad Equipment launched the Bad Wrap on Kickstarter in 2021.
The 3 Legged Thing Wrapz starts at $15 for the small size, while the medium and large versions are $20 and $25, respectively. There is also a bundle that includes one of each size for $55, a $5 discount compared to buying them each separately. The self-adhesive wrap is available in two colorways, “retro,” a blue and orange pattern with lines and circles, and “swirl,” a trippy black and white swirling design.
3 Legged Thing has been busy in recent months, releasing the $130 Patti 2.0 tripod last month and the Lexie universal L-bracket in early December. The company’s entire product catalog is available on its website.
