The Fujinon GF55mm f/1.7 R WR lens’s robust, weather-sealed construction and relatively lightweight and compact form factor make it worthy of consideration by photographers who require a fast prime lens with a modest wide angle of view.

This is a fantastic lens for general photography. It is extremely well ambient scenes, group portraits and urban photography.

On a larger GFX 100 camera with a better grip and phase-detect autofocus performance, the GF 55mm f/1.7 R WR should shine with loads of dreamy bokeh and shallow depth of field.

I absolutely love the look out of it. I think the focal length and the aperture combination are right in line of what I want out of this system.

Optically, I think it's a better lens, and from my perspective, I think this is the one must-have lens for the GFX system.

I can only tell you this is a lens which is a must for every Fuji GFX shooter and trust me, I'm not getting paid by Fuji, not at all.
