The reality is it's competing with prime lenses stopped down at f2. That is absolutely wild.

This lens is phenomenal, and if you're in the market for an 85 and you're a professional shooter, I highly, highly recommend you pick up this lens.
So I'm going to say this, and I have to explain a little bit of why I'm going to say this: I think the Leica Q3 43 is the one and done Leica, the one Leica that can do it all.
This lens is none of that, and I'm surprised because I can't believe lenses are getting this good and this cheap.
So after 3 and a half months of ownership, I can still recommend this camera even with its quirks, and I can do that because I know Leica stands by their products and I know Leica will continue to update the firmware on this camera.
Anyways, at that price point, I think if you're a videographer and you're looking for a zoom lens that's bright and flexible, this is definitely your choice.
Optically, I think it's a better lens, and from my perspective, I think this is the one must-have lens for the GFX system.
Spoiler alert: I think this camera is the best package Leica currently has out in the market right now. What you're getting for your six thousand dollars is absolutely incredible.

Its versatility, its high resolution, its dynamic range, its ease of use, its ergonomics, I have nothing negative to say.
I strongly recommend this camera, it's been fun to use, it's just maybe you want to take pictures, right? And that's what more can you ask for from a camera?
