Save Up to $1,000 on Fantastic Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras

Three digital cameras are arranged against a colorful, abstract background: a silver Sony E-mount camera on the bottom left, a black Nikon Z-series camera in the center, and a dark green Panasonic Lumix camera on the bottom right.

There are so many great full-frame mirrorless cameras on the market, and many are on sale right now. It may be tempting to buy only the latest and greatest camera equipment, but as PetaPixel‘s recent Full-Frame Camera Power Rankings show, sometimes slightly older cameras are not only just as good as the newest models, but arguably even better for some photographers.

Nikon Camera Deals

Nikon Z8

Take, for instance, the Nikon Z8, PetaPixel‘s #1 full-frame camera. Released in 2023, the 45-megapixel camera remains a fantastic choice in 2026, and it’s also $1,000 off right now. This brings its price down from $4,296.95 to $3,296.95. What a great deal on an incredible camera.

Nikon Z9

The Nikon Z9 is technically better than the Z8, with slightly improved performance and a larger, dual-grip design. While we think the Z8 is the better choice for many, especially given the price difference, the Nikon Z9 is $5,296.95 right now thanks to a $600 instant savings.

Nikon Z5

The new Nikon Z5 II is great, landing at the number five spot in our Power Rankings. However, the original Nikon Z5 is still a very good camera. It’s also one of the best deals in full-frame mirrorless photography right now, thanks to a $500 discount. You can get the original Nikon Z5 for $896.95. You can also get it with a Nikkor Z 24-50mm kit lens for $1,196.95, a $550 discount, or the 24-200mm all-in-one zoom for $1,696.95, also $550 off.

Nikon Z6 III

The Nikon Z6 III is a strong hybrid camera, delivering excellent photo and video performance. It’s probably Nikon’s best full-frame camera after the Z8, and you can get it for $2,196.95 right now thanks to a $500 savings.

Nikon Z6 II

What if you don’t care about the Z6 III’s partially stacked image sensor and the speed it brings? Good news: its predecessor, the still-good Nikon Z6 II, is $450 off these days, bringing the price down to $1,296.95. That’s a great deal for a very good full-frame mirrorless camera.

Canon Camera Deals

Canon EOS R3

Although outdone in many ways by the Canon EOS R1, the EOS R3 is still a lightning-fast full-frame camera built for the rigors of a professional workflow. It’s $1,000 off now, making it $4,399.

Canon EOS R5

Until October 11 at 11:59 PM EDT, the original Canon EOS R5 camera is $500 off. At $2,799, it’s significantly cheaper than the EOS R5 II, another camera that cracked PetaPixel‘s Top 10 Power Rankings.

Canon EOS R5 II

But what if you really want the EOS R5 II thanks to its superior performance? Good news! That’s on sale, too. Arguably Canon’s best overall mirrorless camera to date, the EOS R5 II is $400 off through the end of the day on October 11, bringing the price down to $3,999 from the usual $4,399.

Canon EOS R8

The new Canon EOS R8 II is great, but the original R8 is a better value, especially with a $350 instant savings until 11:59 PM EDT on October 11. With the discount, the full-frame R8 is just $1,299.

Canon EOS R6 II

Another great full-frame value is the Canon EOS R6 II. The R6 III is outstanding, our number three camera in the Power Rankings, but the R6 II is no slouch. It’s $1,999 thanks to a $300 discount.

Sony Camera Deals

Sony a7 III

The Sony a7 III is a venerable 24-megapixel camera that earned a ton of praise from photographers when it launched eight years ago. Yes, that’s a long time ago, and the camera shows its age in some areas. However, with a $600 discount through 11:59 PM EDT on October 11, it’s still a strong value for anyone who wants a great full-frame camera without breaking the bank. The Sony a7 III is $1,398 right now. You can also get it with a 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 II kit lens for $1,598.

Sony a7 IV

If you want the a7 IV’s 33-megapixel sensor instead, get a few more pixels; that camera is on sale, too. While the deal isn’t quite as strong, the a7 IV is $1,998 thanks to a $500 discount.

Sony a7R V

The Sony a7R VI is an awesome camera, but so too is its predecessor, the a7R V. Offering more megapixels than nearly every non-Sony camera on the market, the a7R V has held up extremely well. Until Sunday, it’s $500 off, bringing the price down to $3,298. That’s $1,200 less than the a7R VI costs right now.

Sony a7C II

Alongside the Sony a7C R below, the Sony a7C II is the company’s most compact full-frame interchangeable lens camera. It’s $400 off in both black and silver, priced at $2,098. The deal ends on October 11 at 11:59 PM EDT.

Sony a7C R

With the a7R V’s excellent 61-megapixel sensor, the a7C R delivers resolution and image quality in a compact, lightweight form factor. It’s also $400 off through Sunday, October 11. The a7C R is available in black and silver for $2,998.

Sony a9 III

Not only Sony’s fastest camera, but the fastest full-frame camera ever, the 24-megapixel Sony a9 III uses its global shutter sensor to great effect. While it has image-quality trade-offs, the camera is absurdly fast. It’s also pretty darn expensive, but thanks to a $400 savings, it’s at least slightly less costly right now. It’s $6,398 until the end of the day on October 11.

Sony a1 II

Make no mistake, the Sony a1 II is extremely good. But it’s also $7,000, or at least it usually is. It’s $200 off right now, knocking the price down to $200. If you need the a1 II and haven’t gotten it yet for whatever reason, now’s a great time.

Panasonic Lumix Camera Deals

Panasonic Lumix S5 II

A great hybrid camera, the Lumix S5 II is $400 off right now. With these savings, the camera is $1,597.99, a great deal for an excellent video camera with impressive photo chops.

Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX

The Lumix S5 IIX is even better for video, thanks to some special internal recording features. It’s $1,797.99 following a $400 discount. It also comes with three years of Lumix Pro services.

Panasonic Lumix S9

While we didn’t initially love the Lumix S9, it’s really grown on us as Panasonic released firmware updates and new, compact lenses that work well with the lightweight S9. What has been true since launch, though, is that the public at large loves the S9. It’s $400 off right now, making it just $1,397.99 in a kit with the very good Lumix S 18-40mm f/4.5-6.3 lens. That’s a great way into a stylish full-frame camera system with access to a bunch of awesome L-Mount lenses.

Panasonic Lumix S1R II

The 44.3-megapixel Panasonic S1R II is a very good photo camera with impressive video features. It’s $300 off until 11:59 PM EDT on Saturday, October 10. That means it costs just under $3,000.

Panasonic Lumix S1 II

The S1R II’s sibling camera, the 24-megapixel, video-oriented model, is $300 off right now, though there’s no noted end date for the discount. It’s $2,784.95.
