One Family’s Time-Lapse Trip Through 30 European Countries Over 3 Years

Starting in 2011, photographer Stan Chang and his family embarked on a 3-year journey through 30 European countries. Chang has since taken the photos captured during this trip of a lifetime and turned them into gorgeous time-lapses showing the beauty of Europe.

The 5.5-minute video above is “Volume Two” of the time-lapse work and was just released yesterday. “Volume One” was released back in 2014 and racked up over 2 million views after being selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick:

Everything was shot using Nikon D800E and Nikon D600 DSLRs. Chang shot over 200,000 photos during the trip, generating over 1,000+ timelapse clips and roughly 20 terabytes of images.

“I think that everybody needs to take a trip and have their eyes opened to just how beautiful the world is,” Chang says.
