Pixelmator Brings Its Mobile Photo Editing App to the iPhone

Pixelmator, the popular photo editing app for Mac and iPad, is now available for iPhones. The app is designed for mobile photographers who want “advanced, desktop-class photo editing tools” at their fingertips without having to move photos off their phones.

It’s also a jack-of-all-trades app, with functionality that illustrators and graphic designers will find useful as well.

Features in the app include layers, color correction, levels, curves, white balance, a “healing brush,” distortion, common photo editing tools, compatibility with PSD/JPG/PNG/PDF file formats (and more), iCloud support, and social sharing.

Pixelmator for iPhone is available in the App Store for $5. It’s a universal app, so if you own Pixelmator for iPad, you can use the same purchase on your iPhone.
