Chris Hadfield is one of the most loved and accomplished astronauts to ever travel around the Earth. But he’s not just an astronaut, he’s also an international bestseller with his book An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth reaching number one across the globe.

Now, he’s back with a new book titled You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes, which takes readers on a photographic tour of our cities, countries and continents from a vantage point few of us will ever experience first hand.

The 208-page book is filled with beautiful images from his time spent in the International Space Station combined with powerful stories from the man who took them. While we might ‘know’ the locations he’s photographed, we don’t really know the whole story — in the words of the book’s Amazon description, “We caught the beauty but missed the meaning.”

The book is divided up by continent, with each collection representing one orbit around the Earth aboard the ISS. As with most of his work, it’s safe to say that his visuals paired with his storytelling ability will make for one pretty incredible journey… though not quite as incredible as the journey he made about 16 times per day while on the ISS.

The beauty of the Bahamas is surreal; every blue that exists.

You can order both the hardcover and digital version from Amazon for $24 and $13, respectively. You can also find out more about the book over to Hadfield’s website, here.
