Tutorial: A Quick Way to Add a Subtle Punch to Your Photos’ Color In Lightroom

Photographer Trevor Dayley has put together a very handy little tutorial to give your photographs that extra ‘pop’ of color in Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Camera RAW without going overboard.

Granted, his ‘one slider’ technique is nothing new by any means, but it’s a method that’s easily overlooked when you’re just wanting to give your images a subtle tweak to make them come alive.

At only two and a half minutes long, the tutorial quickly walks through the process Dayley uses. As he point out, there are multiple ways to go about this; what he likes about this particular method is that it manages to punch up the colors and contrast without dramatically impacting the overall quality of the image’s color accuracy.

Check out the quick run through at the top to see how it’s done, and if you’d like to see more of Dayley’s tutorials, head on over to his YouTube channel by clicking here.
