    These images can’t be authentic. I don’t see any shards of the Holy Grail or fragments of the True Cross. Everybody knows that real film Leicas contain these important components, or so their admirers seem to believe…

    As you correctly say, it is indeed a matter of believing, and not of these exceptional items effectively being there. It has always worked like that, and always will  ;-).
    Only thing that really matters is that performance lives up to the high expectations of the believers, isn’t it?
