An anonymous father and son over in China are making headlines in that country and across the Internet after their special photos tradition came to light recently. Here's a nice idea for an annual family tradition (especially if you're a parent with young kids): take your family photos from the past year, create a year-in-review photo book, and then record some video of your family looking at the book and talking about it.

"Enough pressure to conform will send anyone packing." That's how photographer and art director Suzanne Heintz begins the description of her viral, satirical and funny photo series Life Once Removed. Too many suggestions that she was getting a bit too old to still be single -- that she needed to "just PICK somebody" and "settle down" -- pushed her to the point where she did pick somebody.
That someone, however, was a mannequin family, which she promptly packed up in her station wagon and took on a road trip.
It started out as a mistake. Back in 1973, PE teacher Dale Irby wore an era-appropriate polyester shirt and brown sweater-vest to picture day. The next year, entirely by accident, he wore the exact same thing. At first he was horrified, but the next year, his wife Cathy dared him to do it again.
What started as a mistake, turned into a dare, and then ultimately into a 40-year tradition that ended this year when Irby chose to retire.
