I think overall the R8 Mark II is a good camera, but it has been 3 years since they launched the R8 and since then other camera brands have obviously not stayed still.

The 26 f2.8 is definitely not perfect, but it's a pancake. This is as good a tiny lens you'll get for Sony.
The Leica SL3-P might just be the best SL for both stills and video use.
[...] I really quite like the Panasonic Lumix L10. It's the combination of everything.
I have to say I did wish it had the old kind of Noctilux magic but yet it has impressed me so much that I can appreciate it for what it is. A compact super fast lens made to offer up everything with as very little compromise as possible.
Essentially, it's a great lens.
The only good reason why you would get this camera is because it works for your creative flow.
I'm going to say actually, I think this might be the best lens released ever.
The Fujifilm X-T30 III what it is is essentially making their most basic level camera less basic.
The Leica M EV1 has the potential to bring out a new dimension in the world of M system photography.
Fast focus, great physical features, more magnification, top image quality.
What is important though is that not only does it look FX3 like, it's out-FX3 the FX3 with the Canon EOS C50.
It is a fantastically unique looking lens and the only thing is the bokeh which in certain situations can look kind of appealing but in other situations it can look um what they technically term as bloody hideous [...]
With the Z5 II they certainly now have a big reason to get into Nikon for those on the smaller budget.
The image quality, fantastic. The build quality, top-notch.
They all produce bloody nice images. That's the beauty of the Hasselblad X system right now.
[T]he Hasselblad XCD 75mm f/3.4 P could serve you well as your only lens, especially if you like doing people shots.
If we look at a more rudimentary Pentax 17 at $499 and then look at the Rollei 35AF, then you realize that not only is the pricing quite all right, but they have got the balance so right in the 35AF when it is seemingly so easy to get it so so wrong.
The Pentax 17 is quirky to look at and quirky to use, but the more I get into the way you have to use it, I have to admit that it brings out a little bit of silly joy in photography that isn't always there when I'm using a more serious camera.
Optically, it's all right, but it's a lens that will become known more for its quirky design decisions.
It feels like they are so, so close to making this an ultimate choice for creators, but as it is, I think it's just really rather good in a sensible way.
This is the SWC-like focal length I was hoping that they'd bring to the system without being bogged down by the slow aperture of the SWC lens, which makes this an excellent addition to the X system.
The Fujifilm X100VI is noticeably different, noticeably more, not wildly new but with plenty of added performance perks to keep you going for a few more years to come.
I'm happy with the Laowas, the Voigtlanders, and the Tokinas, and even though this Viltrox doesn't look particularly great, the photos do, and that really is all that matters.
