While it offers the most versatile and technologically sophisticated experience in the current SL range, its high price point makes it a choice driven more by brand affinity and appreciation for craft than pure technical value.

If you choose the Leica SL3-P, that's a choice you're going to be making with your heart, not so much your head.

The Leica SL3-P is the fastest-shooting, most all-round capable mirrorless camera the company has ever made, and offers a refreshingly focused user experience that a lot of other manufacturers could learn from.
-
The new Leica SL3-P is a capable camera, but at a high price. In a way, this is unfortunate, as it would otherwise be quite appealing not only to existing Leica customers.
-
With its particular balance of features, the SL3-P becomes the most versatile model within the current SL range, and therefore arguably makes the most sense to the widest audience.
-
It handles well, produces superb results and should stand up well to the harshest uses and environments.
-
This is by far the most technologically advanced camera ever to have been produced by Leica - and its combination of top-end photo and video features makes this an impressive hybrid camera that holds its head up high amongst its Japanese rivals.
-
The Leica SL3-P is a supremely well-made and beautifully considered camera that rewards photographers who prioritize craft and image quality over speed and versatility.
-
Packing a 44MP sensor that captures highly detailed images with stunning colors, and now featuring 8K Open Gate video, the SL3-P is a powerful and capable hybrid camera.
-
The Leica SL3-P might just be the best SL for both stills and video use.
-
It’s a solid all-round mirrorless camera that combines great image quality with the typically solid feel you’d expect from an expensive, hand-built Leica camera.
-
[...] I’ve always felt that the SL range offered something unique in the brand’s catalogue. Now, the SL3-P takes the promise of the SL and delivers it with gusto.
-
Get it with the 28-75, and you cannot fail to love it (I know I do).
-
The SL3-P is perhaps primarily intended for photographers and videographers who want a single camera for multiple uses.
-
The SL3-P has all that matters in a great package for a decent price (and there are going to be some great bundles at launch). Get it with the 28-75 and you cannot fail to love it (I know I do) [...]

I think that they've done a really good job of bridging again the two SL series from the SL3S to the Leica SL3-P.
