It’s hard to top the versatility offered by a lens like the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS.

In some ways the little Sigma 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG | Contemporary will be overshadowed by the long-awaited Sigma 85mm F1.2 | ART being released at the same time (my review here), but the truth of the matter is that the 20-60mm is going to end up in far more photographer’s bags [...]
The FUJIfilm X-T30 is a nice upgrade over previous cameras in the series, and provides a reasonably priced alternative to the more feature rich Fuji X-T3.
In many ways the FUJIFILM X-S10 is the most compelling package from Fuji right now if price is a consideration. It includes many of the features of the high-end X-T4, including IBIS, articulating screen, sensor, and focus system.
The Sigma FP-L is a very quirky little camera. It is incredibly small and light for such a high resolution instrument, but the modular design also means that by the time you add on some of the basic accessories built into most competing cameras that advantage is lost.
The Sigma 85mm F1.2 DG | ART provides the best combination of size, weight, features, autofocus, sharpness, and rendering. It isn’t necessarily the best in all of those categories, but it provides the best balance of those qualities, in my opinion.
I suspect that the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN is going to be well received. It is a compact zoom with a nice build quality, a constant F2.8 aperture, and a very good optical performance (outside of a bit of distortion).
The Laowa Argus 25mm F0.95 APO is both similar and different than the Argus 35mm F0.95 full frame lens that I reviewed. The APO design does alter the formula, which results in more usable sharpness results at huge aperture values like F0.95.
If I could use one word to describe the Tamron 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 Di-III VC VXD, that word would be “versatility”. This is a lens that does so many things well, and does them in a reasonably sized and priced package.
This is a top-notch value lens, and should be near the top of your macro list if you own a Canon, Sony, Nikon, or Leica mirrorless body and would prefer a slightly wider angle of view in your macro lens.
The Tamron 20-40mm F2.8 Di III VXD is an unexpected and yet welcome wide angle zoom option for Sony FE shooters.
The FUJIFILM X-T5 is a great evolution of the X-T4, and the new 40MP sensor is definitely a standout. I definitely prefer it to the older 26MP sensor and am impressed with what Fuji has managed to do with it.
The Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G has a nice build, excellent autofocus, and overall excellent image quality.
The iSeries always delights me with the tactile feedback of the designs.
For those that want a smaller, lighter, simpler camera that has many similar features to the higher end Fujifilm X-T5 (my review here), the X-S20 offers a compelling package. It has solid autofocus, competitive buffer depth, long lasting battery life, and very good image quality.
The Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II has the most consistent performance I’ve ever seen from a wide angle zoom lens.
