Reviewer Consensus
Strong
The Sony Alpha NEX-F3 is a capable entry-level mirrorless camera that provides excellent image quality and a versatile tilting screen for self-portraits. While it succeeds as a user-friendly starter system, the menu-heavy interface and awkward design choices can frustrate those seeking more manual control.

NEX cameras still set the bar for this kind of shooter, but there’s some good competition now.

- Photo Review 8.5/10
Buy this camera if [y]ou’re looking for a compact, large-sensor interchangeable-lens camera with PASM shooting modes plus support for raw file capture and Full HD video recording.
-
It’s bigger, has a better grip than the old C3, has a built in flash, great low light and HIGH ISO performance and gives great results even with the 18-55 Kit zoom. If you want a starter camera to get into the NEX system, the F3 makes for a great choice.
-
Why you’d buy the Sony NEX-3F: attractive price; access to E-mount and A-mount lenses.

The NEX-F3 proves why compact mirrorless cameras are a great idea.

That is a reasonable amount for what you're getting, a lot of features in here, and I think it's worth every penny.
-
[I] would say if you can find this camera at an affordable price point, the photo quality is going to be incredible and the video quality will be just okay.
-
I am very happy with this camera. The camera feels good in my hand, the grip makes it easy to hold on to while you take a picture.
