It’s incomplete as a product, but complete enough as an idea that you can see where things are going.

A moving aperture really doesn't do it for me, even if I appreciate the fringe benefits like sun stars. For the average person, this is not going to be a big deal.
If you were hoping for the Pixel 11 Pro would help address your phone addiction, that’s probably not going to happen.
A great foldable with IP68 and a reliable triple camera, trapped in a shape everyone else seems to be moving on from.
[T]his is the first of Sony’s R cameras I’ve looked at and thought, “Yeah, this could be my one camera for everything.”
Taken together, the Osmo Pocket 4P is an almost unqualified success. It combines slight improvements to the Pocket 4’s main camera with a whole new telephoto that delivers great performance in its own right, including really attractive bokeh.
If I was putting my own money down right now, I’d buy the Xiaomi. But if I just had to pick who’s winning this year’s Ultra camera contest, Vivo gets my vote.
I think the Find X9 Ultra is a great phone, but I suspect the version of it without this lens would have been even better.
The S26 Ultra is a return to form in some ways, but it remains a pricey device and generally A Lot of Phone. But that’s kind of the Ultra promise: unapologetically big, crammed with every feature you can imagine.
The funny thing is, the Pixel 10A is still the best midrange phone in the US right now, and one of the better options worldwide too, which is mostly an indictment of what the rest of the industry is doing at this price point.
Thankfully, the OnePlus 15 has one great idea that overshadows the rest of them: a phone that answers the question “What if you didn’t have to worry about battery life?”
The Find X9 Pro is my kind of phone. It’s class-leading in the two areas I care about the most — camera and battery life — and doesn’t compromise much anywhere else to make that possible.
Despite its many flaws, Hasselblad’s flagship camera is one of my favorite cameras ever.
[A]ll of it is worth it once you see the results.
[I]f you do pick this one, be assured you're picking a brilliant camera.
If that appeals, then the Nothing Phone 3 is a unique flagship. Just make sure you’re happy with putting form over function.
If you compare the Z Fold 7 to a top-tier slab phone like the S25 Ultra spec by spec, the folding phone often comes up short. It’s less durable, battery life isn’t quite as good, and the camera system isn’t as versatile.
And even for someone who had time to play around with this thing and genuinely likes it, I'm having a hard time justifying that price.
The A-series Pixels have been very good over the past few years. And in the Pixel 9A, Google has taken a good midrange phone and made it great.
If you’re looking for a hybrid powerhouse that can do it all, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for an exciting and modern camera that is fun to use, takes great photos, has clever usability features, and just looks stunning, the BF is a fantastic choice.
That’s all been true of the last few Ultra phones, and it’s true of this one. But I think there’s something intangible that the Ultra has been losing over the past couple of generations.
It took a few tries to get here, but OnePlus has done it.
The Pentax 17 feels special.
It’s a minor feature, but “Made You Look” — which uses the outer display to show an adorable animation to catch a kid’s attention — works exactly as advertised. Yet it uses the outer screen’s selfie camera, which isn’t great in low light.
