For the budget-conscious photographer, or for those wishing to have the smallest and lightest camera kit, the Tamron 70-300mm is a bargain of a lens.
It’s the ultimate generalist camera for hobbyists and professionals, and it’s an excellent addition to any kit.
In fast-paced action scenarios, this camera’s autofocus performance won’t keep up. But if you’re shooting static landscapes or astrophotography, this camera will likely meet your needs.
The Fujifilm X-H1 is the first of a new line of cameras that make the bold statement that Fujifilm is a viable alternative for videomakers.
The Nikon D5600 camera would be great for many people. With all the options it offers they will likely find that they could use it for long time.
The Nikon D500 is a great camera and anyone who purchases it will really enjoy using it. Full frame is great, but if you are a photographer who likes to zoom in, then the DX may suit you more.
Whether you go for the X-Pro2 or not, will really come down to your personal preferences and budget.
That depends on your needs. If like me, you use the A7R as your main camera, the A6000 is the logical choice for your backup camera.
I highly recommend this camera.
Why you’d buy the Sony A3000: small DSLR-like camera; access to lots of lenses.
Why buy the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7: enthusiast features; compact size. Why not buy the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7: no reason.
Why you’d buy the Olympus OM-D E-M1: excellent stabiliser for video shooting; arguably the best Micro Four Thirds camera on the market.
Why you’d buy the Fujifilm X-M1: good quality, small form factor. Why you wouldn’t buy the Fujifilm X-M1: no panorama mode.
Why you would buy the Nikon D7100: an affordable DSLR with many bells and whistles.
I liked the P5 but felt some of the controls unnecessary: like the two control dials.
A novel camera for the person who has everything.
Quality: top level, sharp, well saturated. Notice the shot above of the mangrove trees and backlit yachts: cropped to one seventh of original image!
Without doubt, a high level camera but the ISO problem is a serious deterrent for me.
For a camera that I figure is very affordable for many people this has to be one of the best buys around: 24.1 megapixel capture, vari-angle screen; Full HD capture.
There’s a lot to like in this model. It will please many Nikon fans. A classic Nikon.
Why you’d buy the Canon EOS-M: compact camera with access to Canon’s full frame lens range.
Why you’d buy the Olympus PEN LITE E-PL5: small, light, access to an enticing range of lenses.
Quality: excellent (of course!) Why you would buy the Nikon D600: you want full frame quality at a reasonable price and luggable weight/size.
