In fact, the longer I used the X100V, the less I missed, well, anything. This is a camera that Fujifilm has been honing for years and, with the X100V, the company has nailed it.

These issues have been completely resolved with the X100V. For those that wished the camera had weather-sealing, this has also been answered, as long as you purchase the optional kit.

  • While it's not radically different to the cameras that have come before it, and therefore unlikely to attract too many new fans, the Fujifilm X100V is definitely the best X100 camera ever, and well worth upgrading to if you're a dedicated follower of the venerable series.

  • With top and bottom plates milled from single pieces of aluminium, the X100V is a tougher camera than 2017’s previous model, the X100F. And the new sensor and processor combination combine to make the X100V a more capable and better performing camera than its predecessor.

For me, it has been the little things: the refined Q menu, the more accurate EVF, the full PDAF coverage, the increase to 1/2000 useable shutter speed at f/2, and even the better quality battery door that have made this a worthy upgrade.

So I would say if this is your primary camera, upgrade. If this is your secondary camera, you don't shoot video, you like the way it shoots, you like the IQ, I say just stick with it.

The Fuji X100V is probably my favorite camera from Fujifilm right now. In fact, if I didn’t need a Fuji body with interchangeable lens capability, I would sell all my Fuji gear, and buy just the X100V with the TCL-X100 II Tele Conversion Lens.
