I’ll say it’s my favourite lens to date. Great for travel, cityscape and portrait as well. It has its flaws, but the images it produces are beautiful.

Where the Fuji falls short of a 5D, it makes up with soul. It evokes so much feeling that I can’t help but long for it in a way I will never feel about a DSLR.
Fuji has added robust weather sealing on this lens, and when coupled to a camera like the X-T3, will withstand the worst conditions. Although it’s a “kit lens,” in addition to OIS and weather sealing, has higher quality glass to increase sharpness across the focal range.
This one is perhaps not a grand master but is it close, really close, so that in use out in the real world you probably won’t notice anything out of place in your images.
