There’s no denying the GFX 100 II can deliver fantastically detailed images with the colour and tonality you know and love from the X-series, but you could already do this with the previous 102 Megapixel models in the series.

True, this is still a hybrid device, hence some of the compromises they made like the absence of an articulated LCD screen, but all in all, Fujifilm did a great job here and I'm extremely curious to see how the market will react in adopting it.

It isn’t perfect, but it isn’t far off either. Stunning stills with vast amounts of detail, strong low-light performance and bags of dynamic range make this any photographer’s dream.

Previous GFX cameras took astoundingly detailed images, and the GFX100 II is no different – only now a much faster, more accurate autofocus and faster burst shooting mean it’s far better suited to snapping moving subjects.

The Fujifilm GFX 100 II is 100% legit and what I've been looking for for a very long time, something different with a huge sensor that actually works like a camera, not something that takes effort but something that actually feels like what I'm used to shooting on, just bigger…

I don’t think you would be disappointed with this camera. If you’re into medium format and you bought any of the others, the 100s, I think this is an upgrade.

It does come with a hefty price tag still though, it's not that cheap even though it is cheaper than the competition, $7,500 US or $10,100 Canadian just for the body [...]

The GFX II, I think honestly, if you're into the GFX series and you can afford it, it's honestly a no-brainer to purchase. The 8K video quality footage, the eight-stop stabilization, the improved and sleeker design, this is a really fantastic camera for any Fujifilm users.

I'm choosing to look at it as a glass half full because, despite not being the poor man's IMAX camera that I think every video creator hoped it would be, Fujifilm has delivered on what they set out to do with this camera.

I'm biased, but I think this is the best time because this camera is mature to a point where I felt that it's able to do more sort of stuff.

I could not be happier with the results there, and it's definitely something that would be on par with a 7 plus thousand dollar camera.
