Elinchrom (Finally) Releases Grids for Every Rotalux Light Modifier

The Elinchrom Rotalux Softbox system is finally complete. 25 years after the popular light shaping system debuted, Elinchrom has finally debuted “Rotagrids” for all 12 modifier shapes, allowing Rotalux users to better control their light spread.

The newly announced Rotagrids are 30° grids that come in every size and shape of Rotalux Softbox, including Square, Recta, STrip, Octa and Deep Octa.

Here’s a fresh intro to the (now complete) Rotalux system of light modifiers:

The new Rotagrids are made from “durable, lightweight fabric” that promises to keep its shape over time, and features “hook and loop” fastener system for quick set-up and take-down. As a bonus, Elinchrom is also including a storage pouch “with clear labeling” with each Rotagrid, so you can keep everything organized in-studio.

You can find out more about the new grids for Rotalux modifiers over on the Elinchrom website, where the grids are already available for purchase. Depending on the size and shape of your modifier, the price for a Rotagrid ranges from $80 (14×35-inch Stripbox grid) to $250 (69-inch Octabox grid).
