Tamron Launches VIP Club for Photogs Who Own 4+ Lenses
Tamron has announced a new perk plan for loyal photographed who have purchased four or more Tamron lenses. It’s called the VIP Club, and it’ll be officially launching on February 15th, 2018.
The VIP Club will have three levels: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These are for photographers who have registered four, five, and six lenses, respectively. Membership in the club will be evaluated every year and new qualifying members will be brought.
Here’s a breakdown of the perks photographers will receive in each of the three tiers:

The Tamron Workshop Summit
The Workshop Summit mentioned in the Platinum perks is a 4-day/3-night event that will be held in the Fall of 2018. It will be limited to 25 participants who will be able to attend on a first-come/first-serve basis a single time.
“Invitations will be sent to qualifying Platinum Level members in Spring 2018 by priority mail,” Tamron says. “The Workshop Summit includes three nights hotel, meals, transportation to/from hotel/airport in destination city, workshop transportation, workshop and loaner lenses. Airfare, home airport transportation, and other incidentals are not included.”
So just to recap: if you’re a die-hard Tamron shooter who owns enough lenses to qualify for the upcoming VIP program, make sure your gear is registered for their warranties and keep your eye out for an official invite to the club starting in February 2018.
