BTS: Shooting a Subzero Time-Lapse at 10,000ft in the Swiss Alps
Timelapse photographer Drew Geraci recently headed up to the Gornergrat Observatory from Zermatt to shoot a time-lapse of the Toblerone Mountain: Matterhorn. In this 4 minute video, he shows how the shots were set up and the outcome of the project.
Geraci and his assistant Justin Majeczky took the highest open-air railway in Europe – the Gornergrat rack railway – to reach the 10,285ft peak. The time-lapse was part of a series for Redbull Media, titled “The Horn”.
Check out the video at the top to see how they put the beautiful time-lapse together in the thin air of the Swiss Alps. And for more From Geraci and his team, check out their website at District 7 Media.
