Photographer Nearly Gets Run Over by Angry Guy on Public Road

How would you react if you were threatened while doing a photo shoot in a public place? Los Angeles-based photographer Alex Stone says he was nearly run over yesterday by an angry man while doing a photo shoot on a public road. The confrontation was captured in the 3-minute video above (warning: there’s very strong language).

Stone and his crew were doing a car shoot on a quiet, nearly “deserted” road by a tiny airport in the middle of Ramona, California, yesterday when they were confronted by a man in a heavy-duty SUV. The guy demanded that the crew get off his “driveway” and “private road.”

When Stone responded that they would only be there a few minutes longer, the man became heated and Stone started recording.

Stone says the end of the video shows his phone getting hit out of his hands and having its screen broken on the pavement.

“A guy tried to run me over today,” Stone wrote in a Facebook post. “In the past 10 years of shooting cars nothing like this has every happened.”

“Be safe out there.”

Update on 7/11/2016: The man, 52-year-old Mark Wayne Gordon, has been arrested and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, battery and vandalism.
