Video: One Month of Life on the Road as a Photojournalist

Back in 2014, Denver Post photojournalist AAron Ontiveroz‘s boss asked him to travel to Russian to cover the Sochi Winter Olympics, Aspen for the Winter X Games, and NYC for the Super Bowl.

So, Ontiveroz spent a month of non-stop travel on the road with his camera. To show us what life is like as a photojournalist on the road, Ontiveroz put together the 7-minute behind-the-scenes video above.

We see his preparations, his gear (including 5 DSLRs, “too many” lenses, and many other items), time-lapses of his various journeys, scenes from the major events he covered, and some of his resulting photos.

“I got to see the world or some of it anyway,” Ontiveroz writes. “It was fun.”
