Here’s a Drone Hyperlapse Shot in RAW at Night

The sky may be the next frontier for time-lapse and hyper-lapse techniques. Aerial videographer Jonathan Lucan made this 2-minute short film titled NightLapse Concerto. It’s an aerial hyperlapse that was created entirely from RAW DNG still photos captured from the sky with a DJI Inspire 1 drone.

Lucan tells us it was created using a 3rd party app that triggered the drone’s camera with intervals of less than 5 seconds each. The nighttime shots produced over 100 gigabytes of RAW photos that were edited in Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC to create the hyperlapse seen above.
