Strange Prototype Cameras by Samsung

Samsung just published a followup to the NX lens engineer interview video that we shared a couple weeks ago featuring Q&As with the planners, marketers, and designers behind the lenses. Included on the page was this interesting photograph that appears to show a bunch of prototype cameras developed in the company. Check out the cube-shaped camera and another one with three retro dials at the top!

Everyone wants a piece of that x100 retro action…

I do like the ‘Hasselblad’ styled ones. I would hope that the top opens up to reveal the LCD, so you have the waist-level finder thing going on.

You can see from the picture there’s an LCD flip-out on the rear, hinged at the top (from the one the three-dials is leaning on)

I think I’d love a DSLR with 3 dials (Shutter, Aperture, ISO). What more do you need?

I would love to get my hands on one of those Box-shaped ones… Waist-level RULES.
