Yet Another Rumor Suggests that Fuji Will be Going Full-Frame Mirrorless Soon

Murmurings that Fujifilm will be one of the next companies to introduce a full-frame mirrorless camera aren't new. The X200 is supposedly going to be full-frame and Fuji's executives themselves confirmed that they "would like to challenge" the full-frame market when they spoke to DPReview at CP+.

Pilling on to all this talk is a new piece of info sent to Fuji Rumors that seems to indicate the X200 isn't the only camera Fuji might be packing a full-frame sensor into. According to the tipster -- who is a new source, so extra salt on this one -- the X-Pro2 is also going to be a full-frame camera.

Speed Graphic 4×5 Converted Into a Fuji X Mirrorless Camera

Photographer Bryce Hoeper wants to become the Dr. Frankenstein of the camera world. Back in 2011, his experiments with mounting a 102-year-old lens to a Canon DSLR were widely shared across the Web. About a month ago, he created another cam-monster that combines old and new: he combined an old Speed Graphic 4x5 large format camera with a modern Fujifilm X-Pro1 mirrorless camera.

Fujifilm Unveils New Firmware for the X-Pro1 That Makes Autofocus Snappier

In addition to the new X-E1 announced this morning, Fujifilm has also unveiled its upcoming version 2.0 of its X-Pro1 firmware. Autofocus has been a much-griped-about feature of the X-Pro1 (and the X100, for that matter), and the new firmware addresses that issue by improving the AF capabilities of the camera in different ways.

Fujifilm Primed to Announce Low and High-End X Models at Photokina

Photokina is only a couple of months away, and it looks like Canon and Nikon won't be the only ones making major announcements and shaking up the camera market. According to Fuji Rumors, Fujifilm -- initially reported to have a cheaper X-Model camera in the works -- will actually be announcing two new models, one low-end and one high-end.

Fujifilm Reveals X-Pro1 Lens Roadmap, to Introduce Zoom Lenses This Fall

If you're the owner of a Fujifilm X-Pro1 and you've been yearning for a little bit of zoom capability out of your lenses, then it looks like relief isn't far off. A couple of days ago Fujifilm announced the lens roadmap for the X-Pro1 (seen above), which shows that we'll be seeing a few zoom lenses added to the family, one of which will be here as early as this Fall.

A Hands-On Tour of the Fujifilm X-Pro1

Here's a hands-on tour of the new Fujifilm X-Pro1 that was announced yesterday -- a gorgeous camera that has the photo world buzzing with excitement. There's been a lot of speculation on the camera's price, which hasn't been announced, with most sources reporting that it will be in the range of $1,600-$1,700.

New Fujifilm X-Pro1 Photos and Specs, Camera to Offer Film Simulation Modes

Fujifilm's beautiful X-Pro1 mirrorless camera isn't official yet, but we now have a clearer picture of what the system will look like after a few product pages for X-series lenses were accidentally published on Amazon (they've since been removed). In addition to new images of the camera itself, prices for the lenses were revealed: $500 for the 35mm f/1.4 and 18mm f/2.0, and $600 for the 60mm f/2.4. Also, get this: the camera will be able to simulate 10 different kinds of film (e.g. Provia, Velvia, Astia, B&W)!

Fujifilm X-Pro1 Photos and Specs Leaked

The Nikon D4 wasn't the only upcoming camera to have its photos and details leaked today: Fujifilm's retro-styled system camera also got the same treatment. RĂ©ponses Photo (the French magazine that leaked the D4) has leaked an article about the Fujifilm X-Pro1 -- previously believed to be called the X1 or LX10. A press release about the camera also appeared on Wells Fargo's website (screenshot here). We now know that the camera will offer a custom 16MP CMOS sensor, use Fujifilm's EXR processor technology, feature a second-generation hybrid viewfinder, and be launched with 3 fast prime lenses (18mm f/2, 35mm f/1.4, and 60mm f/2.4).
