Sony's A6000 series led the way for APS-C mirrorless cameras, and in 2024 Fujifilm's X-T50 is the best example of the promise of this format.

It's exceptional for stills and excellent for video. It's only June, but I'm predicting this will be the best APS-C format camera of 2023.
While the camera is better than good enough, the lens is just good enough.
[I] really love this lens.
There's certainly no professional photography or videography purpose that this can't handle as well as, mostly better than, the competition.
My summary here is that there are substantial upgrades to focus, which would certainly make a strong case to upgrade from the D750, and there are a few more focus capabilities like focus shift and features like low-light AF autofocus.
The X-Pro3 has style; in my opinion, this is a classy, elegant, and well-thought-out design and Although its appeal is somewhat retro it also seems quite modern and this is the basic black version.
I'm not sure about that; its small size and weight along with its extensive auto and manual capabilities make it an all-around useful camera for stills and video for yourself and for whatever other subjects you fancy.
If you can get past the lack of a viewfinder you'll find this a small yet extremely capable camera and you can let the automated features find the right settings or you can take manual control so you can create the perfect image.
Now whether it has a mirror or not, this is a fine camera paired with a great lens that's worthy of your consideration regardless of your photography requirements. I didn't expect to be quite as impressed at the end of the review as I am.
Otherwise, from looks to quality, from features to usability, the X-T30 has everything to like, and this is the second camera in 2019 that fulfills on the promise of mirrorless: small, light, packed with features, great for stills and for video.
Nikon has clearly invested the Nikon Z6 with excellent quality and good usability engineering. Once I have the controls customized I quickly felt at home, able to make adjustments easily with the exception of burst speed and buffer.
Nikon clearly has invested the Z 7 with excellent quality and good usability engineering.
Now this is a hotly contested category, but for the moment the Fujifilm X-T3 is the best APS-C camera on the market.
Like all cameras the Fujifilm X-H1 has some quirks. However we can count on Fuji to address some in upcoming firmware releases.
It certainly doesn't look or feel any different and I think that the Fujifilm X-T100, while a fine camera, is lacking in a few areas where other Fuji models do better.
The SL2 is an entry-level camera, but it can take great pictures, just maybe not with the kit lens. Its auto modes deliver, but when situations or your creativity demand more, it has all the manual controls you need as well.
The auto point-and-shoot features on the camera allow me, the less advanced photographer of the family, to take great pictures.
This could well be the last full-frame DSLR as Nikon has stated its intention to build a full-frame mirrorless camera. In that case, the Nikon D850 will be a legacy model, a treasured memento, the epitome of what could be accomplished with this technology.
I like the Nikon D7500; it provides a more comprehensive set of photography features and functions than the more basic cameras in Nikon's lineup.
For novice photographers and for those expanding their horizons from shooting with a smartphone or a point-and-shoot camera, it's a perfect choice.
The more I shot, the more I was impressed.
Canon's Canon EOS M5 is nice, small, and light, but with all the features that you want from a DSLR. I liked it a lot but wasn't fully satisfied and felt it could be more.
What this complex menu does provide is a degree of functionality and flexibility that, as a total package, is not available elsewhere.
