  • Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is definitely a good phone, but in a year with rising prices, increased competition, and eroded trust after plenty of bad software updates, it's tough to recommend unless you really love a specific feature like Magic Capture or the new Creator Studio tools.

  • Xiaomi 17T Pro

The 17T Pro isn't too different to what we got last year, but a bigger battery and tweaks to the camera tuning mean you get a better overall phone. It costs a little too much at launch, but if you're willing to wait a month or two, it is a good option to consider.

  • Vivo X300 Ultra

Combine that with the latest internals, a huge 6,600mAh battery, and a bold design, and this really is the best camera-focused flagship you can buy in 2026.

  • Google Pixel 10a

There's a lot to like about the Google Pixel 10a, despite it being a mostly recycled version of the Pixel 9a. The identical price point, at just $500, is chief among them.

  • OnePlus 15

The OnePlus 15 is an improvement over the OnePlus 13 in many ways, including a faster processor, even better 165Hz OLED, improved camera quality, and an even more durable build.

  • Oppo Find X9 Pro

The Find X9 Pro comes with meaningful upgrades that allows it to stand out in general. The battery lasts two days, and that alone is a big enough differentiator that I see this phone doing really well in Asian countries.

  • Vivo X300 Pro

On the whole, if you're looking to buy a new phone and want the best cameras and a great all-round device, the X300 Pro is the phone to beat.

  • Vivo X200 FE

If you need a small phone that holds its own against regular flagships, I have no problems recommending the X200 FE. The phone is better to hold and use than the X200 and X200 Pro, and it has most of the same features that makes those devices stand out.

  • Xiaomi 15T Pro

Essentially, the 15T Pro is the phone you buy if you don't need the absolute best cameras and want to save a few hundred dollars.

  • Nothing Phone 3

The cameras are much better than previous years as well. However, they don't measure up to Chinese rivals, the hardware is distinctly second-best, it isn't launching with Android 16, and the phone just isn't worth the $799 asking price.

  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

One UI 7 is infused with so much AI that you'll feel like you're living in the future, there's a rather welcome upgrade to the camera system, and it could've powered trips to the Moon in 1969 enough times that we'd almost be on the way to Mars. But there's always a but.

  • Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Odd name notwithstanding, this is about as close as it gets to being the perfect upgrade from its predecessor. There are a few qualms here and there, but I'm hoping that this is a sign that we can expect future foldable phones from Google.

  • Google Pixel 8a

The Pixel 8a is Google's best mid-range hardware yet, further blurring the line between the company's flagship "premium" offerings and this mid-range winner. The cameras are still best-in-class and AI features aren't gatekept to the most expensive Pixels, unlike Apple's strategy.

  • Xiaomi 13T Pro

The 13T Pro continues to be a stellar choice in 2024, and while it may not have the latest hardware or the best cameras, it is a great all-rounder.
