- PetaPixel 7.5/10
The Pixel 11 Pro series provides plenty of customization and control of my images if I want to be more hands-on, but is still simple enough to be usable for casual users to enjoy.
-
Good phones and they're fun to use.
- The Verge 8/10
If you were hoping for the Pixel 11 Pro would help address your phone addiction, that’s probably not going to happen.
- WIRED 7/10
All in all, the Pixel 11 Pro models are yet another strong entry that deliver the camera prowess expected of a Pixel and the software smarts.
-
The Pixel 11 Pro is very clearly the better phone, but I’m not convinced that the Pro is the Pixel most people should buy.
-
The Pixel packs features you can't find anywhere else, and a version of Android I'd be happy to recommend to anyone from the smartphone enthusiast to the smartphone inept.
-
The Pixel 11 Pro is a mixed bag, but still a strong Android phone for those who want a smaller device. The design and camera are standout, while the software has plenty of benefits.
-
The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL feels like a software upgrade more than new hardware, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's safe to skip this upgrade cycle if you have a recent Pixel phone, but it's sure to tempt iPhone or Samsung converts.
-
[T]here are some excellent improvements to the cameras, the brighter display proves its worth and there are some excellent AI features that are (currently) exclusive. However, they aren't enough to make the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL the must-have phones of 2026.
- Engadget 9/10
While the Pixel 11 Pro is a very satisfying handset, it feels like Google went a step too far with the software enhancements this year.
-
Looks or filters are everything, especially in cameras that increasingly look all the same. It's amazing to be able to tailor your look to what you like.
-
If you already own the Pixel 10 Pro, there probably isn’t enough here to justify [...] an upgrade. But if you’re coming from an older Pixel or looking for one of the best Android phones you can buy, the Pixel 11 Pro is a great phone, though not quite remarkable.
-
Aside from this one amazing feature, however, the cost of these Pixels far outweighs the benefits.
- PhoneArena 7.4/10
With a good deal (or trade-in), I still think the Pixel 11 Pro is a great choice for those who like pure Android and an amazing camera. But if you want the best performance or if you are focused on gaming, there are better phones around.
- PhoneArena 7.5/10
Google's latest flagship [is] a tough sell. People are just not used to paying top dollar for a Pixel.
-
The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is a tried and true flagship masquerading as a series of incremental upgrades.
-
If you’ve been holding onto a Pixel 9 Pro or older, yes, the Pixel 11 Pro is worth the jump. The cooler thermals, better battery life, and faster modem fix the exact problems that made previous Pixels frustrating to live with day to day.
- Droid Life 8/10
If you’re carrying a Pixel 10 Pro, there’s no urgent need to rush out and upgrade, but for anyone holding onto an older device, this dialed-in experience is tough to beat.
-
Beyond that, it's the majority of the Pixel 11 Pro's features that are so very on point – from design distinction to camera upgrades and Android 17's software customisations – that maintain Google's hardware worthiness.
-
Its instantly recognizable design, phenomenal camera, and strong all-around performance help it stay in the lead of the Android race.
- How-To Geek 8/10
This is Google's best smartphone yet, even though it's more derivative than iterative.
-
The Pixel 11 and 11 Pro XL are some of the safest annual upgrades that Google has put out in years.
-
While I'm giving it a little bit of crap for not being a major upgrade year on year, no one's really upgrading their phones every year. And if you're coming from a 2 3 4 year old phone, this is going to be really good.
- CGMagazine 7.5/10
The Google Pixel 11 Pro is not a major leap forward, but its polished software, strong cameras and clever AI features make it a compelling upgrade for anyone coming from an older Pixel.
-
In case it wasn't clear, if you absolutely must have a phone from the Pixel 11 series and the extra money is not a hurdle for you, I'd recommend the Pixel 11 Pro. It's just a rock-solid Android phone with a really great photography suite.
-
The Google Pixel 11 Pro offers one of the best camera sets of any phone I’ve tested, offering good basic shots, better low-light photos than ever and a new trick I’ve been waiting for.
-
The Pixel series, including the Pixel 11 pro, continues to look and feel like one of the best phones around.
- IGN 7/10
It’s a good phone, and you’re not likely to be disappointed with it in day-to-day use unless you’re a gamer, but it takes more to really be great.
-
The Pixel 11 Pro is an excellent phone packaged as a modest annual update. Its compact design, bright display, strong camera system, clean software, and long support window make it one of the most complete Android options available.
-
[C]oming to this thing from the Pixel 8 Pro I can see clear improvements in the camera technology, and the screen's a bit brighter, but apart from that the Pixel 8 Pro was actually better in some ways.
-
I don't think this is like the flashiest Pixel upgrade ever, but it does feel like the most refined.
-
[...] Tensor G6 approved to be a true flagship chipset, opening most of the apps and games faster than the competition. But, the lower RAM of the base variant is holding it back in some areas.
-
It's definitely a lazy upgrade, but some of the software features, though, they're are they are kind of cool.
-
As a whole, in my most humble opinion, the Pixel 11 Pro XL should be getting far more love than it's getting. If top-tier graphics processing is not really that important to you, this is indeed the definitive Android experience.
-
[T]his device is actually quite amazing, especially with how good the battery life is and charging speed is on this device.
-
While I've enjoyed using these phones because they are premium devices, they are flagship, they cost too much and there's just too much better options out there.
-
For all those reasons and more, I really think the 11 Pro with the 6.3 in form factor is the perfect value.
-
I like this phone a lot. It's just expensive.
