What the Reviewers Say

The OnePlus 10 Pro focuses on the right things, rather than throwing new stuff at a wall to see what sticks.

OnePlus has taken another step in the evolution of its flagship offerings, and it’s a good one. This feels like a device that knows what it is and who it’s for, more so than the 9 and 9 Pro.

If you made me choose from the current crop of flagship Android smartphones, the new OnePlus 10 Pro wouldn't be my first or second choice. It's not my last either.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has a brilliant display and offers long battery life along with fast charging that gets the battery from zero to full in about 35 minutes. The performance is solid and the main camera is quite good as well.

So to sum up my thoughts after using the OnePlus 10 Pro for around a month at this point, I think all of its parts add up to a good smartphone, just not a great one.

The OnePlus 10 Pro offers enticing camera features, fast charging, and an excellent screen, but stumbles with a disappointing software experience.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a great premium all-around phone - it has a good-looking screen, fast charging and powerful internals. The cherry on the cake is that it costs less than other Pro phones, making it an incredibly tempting choice.

OnePlus might have nailed its cameras last year, but it's not at the same level of the best phone cameras in 2022.

Make no mistake the OnePlus 10 Pro is an excellent smartphone, and the price makes it tempting, but it has clearly been assimilated by the Oppo/Realme/Vivo collective.

So overall, this is a fun phone to use and I think most people would enjoy it. To buy one, you’d probably have to really be a huge OnePlus fan, though.

The display panel is the same as that of the 9 Pro. It is rated for 1300 nits of peak brightness, and it has HDR10+ support and a variable 120Hz refresh rate that optimizes battery life by switching down to as low as 1Hz.

In terms of build quality, photography, user experience, battery life and most other features, it’s more or less right up there and all for a smaller outlay.

I personally like this OnePlus 10 Pro. I do believe that this is the best phone the company has ever made and I do feel that for any OnePlus fan looking for an upgrade this is definitely the right time to do so.

It's a fantastic phone in its own right, but it's hard to justify the extra expenditure over the company's own OnePlus 9 Pro.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is an impressively well-rounded flagship that splits the difference between Realme’s and Oppo’s recent flagships, with superb battery life but an inconsistent camera that holds it back from true greatness.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a perfectly solid Android device. There’s nothing particularly outstanding about it, but it’s capable enough that it’s an option if you don’t like the look and feel of Samsung and Google’s respective phones.

It's nicely designed and built, well priced and very capable, but the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn't stand out from the affordable-flagship crowd as much as last year's model.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is an excellent option in its price range, and slightly edges ahead of the likes of the Google Pixel 6 Pro.

I gotta say I have enjoyed using it as my personal smartphone. There's very little to complain about really beyond the usual bugbear such as no headphone jack, no expandable storage, etc.

The display is great, the processor snappy, and it has longer battery life than most. However, there's still work to be done with the camera technology and that may well be the deciding factor for consumers.

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a very cool phone. I think it's easily the most accomplished smartphone OnePlus has cooked up, although I can see some of the ColorOS changes being a little controversial.

Even though the OnePlus 10 Pro is a decent upgrade over the 9 Pro, it fails to compete with the best flagship phones of 2022. So you might be better off with Samsung's Galaxy S22+ instead, which offers a lot more for a similar price.

The battery seems to last a day at least in my experience, the camera's great, it's got a clean display, the software is smooth, it checks all the boxes that we would expect a smartphone in 2022 to check.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is the best phone OnePlus has ever made, and it's a handset that’s extremely easy to love. We’re particularly fans of its design, its performance, its screen, and its software, but there really are no significant weak links in this phone.
