The Leica M digital cameras are cameras that today no photographer needs, but thanks to great marketing, brand image and history many want.
-
Leica made a fantastic camera in the Leica M10. It’s the most classic Leica I’ve seen in years, and it plays to all their strengths, while still maintaining all Leica look and feel that so many have come to love.
-
If you're looking for a digital rangefinder, then you won't be disappointed with the Leica M10, as it is the most refined Leica M digital rangefinder yet.
-
The new Leica M10 is the most analog digital M-series camera ever, marrying the classic look and feel of past M film cameras with a select number of modern, digital features.
- Photo Review 8.7/10
The latest Leica manual focus rangefinder camera offers 24-megapixel resolution in a compact body with simple controls, a manual ISO dial and a larger viewfinder.
-
The Leica M10 is the best digital rangefinder ever made. [...] I give the Leica M10 my HIGHEST recommendation.
-
The LEICA M10 may be LEICA's first "perfect 10" digital camera. The M8 was a half-frame marketing experiment, the M9 had a very noisy shutter and made horrible JPGs, the M240 was way too big, heavy and complex, and this M10 seems to finally have gotten it all right.

The Leica M10 isn't right for everyone. For the rest, it's a breath of fresh air, thanks to its robustness and compact simplicity.
-
The M10 is an awesome camera. Apart from somewhat lackluster battery life and possibly the omission of an electronic shutter option, I find it hard to fault.
-
For those of you that are in the Leica ecosystem this is a fantastic fantastic upgrade. You will not be disappointed when you're shooting with this new Leica M10 [...]

I’ve owned the camera for exactly one month, which is not long enough to truly understand the nuances of most camera bodies.
-
Each aspect of it shows how much experience, intelligence and thought has gone into it; it’s a camera designed by photographers to be used by photographers.
-
There's just something about the simplicity and the inspiration that I draw from these cameras and how they're used that I honestly do think slows me down and makes me a better photographer.
-
I personally enjoy this system more than any other camera I've ever owned.
-
This camera comes in, and I think this is the only camera that I've ever used where it perfectly merges that optical and manual experience into one, and it's because of that kind of combination of the two, but I absolutely love using this camera and I genuinely get super [...]

The M10 might be smoke and mirrors or a rich guy’s toy to some photographers, but for me, it’s as close to shooting film as shooting digital can get.
-
The focus was a bit frustrating, but as the day went on, I became more and more acquainted with the camera and began to love using it. I like to shoot fast, and the more comfortable I became, the more agile I felt with it.
-
I don't regret it; it's a wonderful camera to use. [...] I'm not a wealthy man so it doesn't make sense for me to have a $5,000 one-trick pony camera and I can still have the true Leica experience.
-
Like, they really listened to their photographers and they've eliminated video from the camera and they've just made the overall experience much more pleasurable.
