Should you buy the Oppo Fine X9 Pro? Honestly, I'm kind of tempted to get one myself.

I'd say yes, especially if you're gaming on it. The 715T Pro is tuned very well to handle the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus and does not have any major frame rate fluctuations when it reach the thermal limit and still be able to take great pictures and videos as well.
This is a surprisingly good phone as it packs a lot of performance, doesn't actually heat up, great battery life, rather decent cameras, and most important of all an affordable price, and you do get a lot of value for your money here.
It's a strong contender within this price point, and I don't think there is any alternative for this kind of price range for this kind of specs at this point in time.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is like improving the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is really my personal perfect phone for the year 2021. And then Samsung just took this phone, added an S Pen inside the phone and voila the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
