The company says that the film harkens back to the “rebellious spirit” of the 1990s and to the time where it as a company was born.

“With a powerful film grain, this enticing emulsion appears soft and mesmerizing in the sun and brings a subtle, painterly look to your photos at dusk,” Lomography says of the new film.

“Vibrant reds and clean yellows pop out amongst fascinating blue tones whilst delicate pastel undertones take everyday snaps to a new dimension. Produced using a unique color layering process and a one-of-a-kind color palette, this special construction works in harmony with the film’s rich grain structure for a burst of retro charm and classic analogue character.”

Lomography says that its goal is to make analog photography available to everyone and to support that, the new LomoChrome Color ’92 ISO 400 emulsion is available in 35mm, 120, and 110 formats.

“As the sole producers of 110 format film, we are thrilled to be able to bring a never-seen-before film to this tiny format! For 35mm and 120 shooters, this unique film’s large exposure latitude makes it great for experimentation, as photographers can push or pull the film to retain good information in shadows and highlights.”
