The Lumigon T3 is the World’s First Smartphone with a Night Vision Cam

Ever wish your smartphone could see in the dark? Your wish is Dutch electronics company Lumigon’s command. Introducing the T3, a phone Lumigon claims is the world’s first with a built in, HD, night vision camera.

The T3 is a followup to the (you guessed it) T2, and the big trick up its sleeve is the 4MP infrared camera with dual IR flash slapped onto the back—that’s in addition to the phone’s regular 13MP rear camera and its 5MP front camera that includes its own flash. The phone can also shoot 4K video.

That’s about it for photo-centric features, but there’s more to love about the phone. It’s dust and water resistant, sports a 360-degree fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, universal IR remote control, and the sturdy stainless steel body features Gorilla glass on the front and back.

If you want to pick one of these up for yourself—be honest, you’re at least a smidgeon intrigued—you can find it in white, black, and orange through the Lumigon website starting at $740 (USA)/$925 (EU). Oh, and there’s 24K gold versions as well… because why not.
