Getty Unveils Stream, An iOS App for Browsing Through and Legally Sharing Its Image Archive

Almost six months to the day after Getty made its photographs embeddable, the massive photo agency has announced Stream: an iOS app that will allow you to browse through and share its vast image archive.

Stream allows you to search through Getty’s entire collection and share the images, legally, by embedding them into blogs and social media accounts for non-commercial purposes. If you’d prefer to search through curated collections — sports, news, entertainment, etc. — of images you can do that too through collections created specifically by Getty editors.

The app features a slideshow view that works hand-in-hand with AirPlay so you can simply stream it through any display connected to an Apple TV. And, oo course, built-in social media sharing is included.

To take a closer look at Stream you can head on over to the iTunes App Store and give it a free download.
