We love a good photo series that can put a smile on our faces, and when those photos are also being taken for a good cause, well, we really couldn’t ask for more. Such is the case with the 2014 NYC Taxi Drivers Calendar.

The hilarious calendar is packed with photos of real New York City cab drivers striking silly pin-up poses that will make you both cringe and laugh.

We took to the streets of New York to photograph some of the city’s best-humored taxi drivers. These gentlemen put a face to one of the most dedicated workforces in NYC, driving day and night to transport New Yorkers and our guests alike.

Credit for the idea belongs to creator and director Phil Kirkman, who teamed up with photographer and designer Shannon McLaughlin to create this calendar as a way to raise money for the charity University Settlement — a social services organization that serves over 30,000 immigrant and working individuals and families every year with basic services like quality education, housing, and literacy programs.

Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll find inside the calendar:

Each calendar runs $15, with 100% of the proceeds going to University Settlement, and if you want one, you’d better get in line — as of this writing the calendar has done so well it’s sold out and backordered!

To learn more about the project or get your name on their email list so they can notify you when more calendars are in stock (they’re thinking that’ll happen sometime next week) head over to the project’s website by clicking here.
