‘The Wider Image’ App by Reuters Brings Beautiful News Photos to Your iPad

Want to enjoy some of the world’s latest and greatest news photographs on your iPad? Reuters has a new app designed just for you. Called The Wider Image, it’s a photo experience that’s designed to bring beautiful photojournalism to life in your hands.

The app is designed exclusively for the iPad, and comes loaded with 100 stories shot by Reuters photographers around the globe. Reuters, the world’s largest news agency, aims to publish new stories daily; new photographs are automatically downloaded to the app at regular intervals and whenever you start it up.

In addition to simple photo browsing, the app includes all kinds of background information that brings the images to life, providing context on every story that the photographs tell. You’ll enjoy facts, quotes, graphics, sounds, videos, before-and-after comparisons, interactive 360-degree photos, and much more.
