Apparently, the magazine erred when it decided to put Paulina Gretzky (daughter of famed hockey player Wayne Gretzky and fiancé of pro golfer Dustin Johnson) on the cover instead of an actual… you know… golfer.

Humor: ‘Body Evolution’ Model Turned Into Santa Claus by Cheeky Ad Agency

Last year, a time-lapse called ‘Body Evolution – Model Before and After‘ went viral as people the world over had their eyes opened to just how much a model can be altered with the help of hair, makeup and, most of all, Photoshop. That video has accrued almost 8 million views, and is still shared today in hopes of convincing magazines to begin putting disclaimers on images that are significantly altered in post.

The video above by ad agency Victors & Spoils takes that video and does something hilarious with it. Almost as if to say “You think that’s extreme? We’ll SHOW you extreme!” the agency Photoshopped the model further, from the beautiful Barbie-like cover girl into none other than Santa Claus! Read more…

Smaller and lighter cameras are something that’s a huge part of the ongoing mirrorless camera movement, so some camera company should definitely take this idea and turn it into an actual commercial.

Spoof Video Pokes Fun at DSLR Rigs

In 2008, the Nikon D90 became the first DSLR to offer HD video recording, a feature that has become pretty standard on new DSLR models. Third-party companies have also taken advantage of the HDSLR craze by offering a boatload of specialized HDSLR filmmaking products, including camera rigs that are constantly becoming larger and more crazy-looking. DSLR film school Neumann Films created this funny short film poking fun at huge and expensive rigs.
