Following the initial product release launched last March, Aputure has announced the refresh of the Infinibar product family with the addition of new four-light kits and accessories adding even more functionality to the lineup.

Last summer, B&H Photo hosted a relatively small camera industry trade show and exposition in New York, testing the waters for the viability of in-person shows after the collapse of Photo Plus. It went so well, that the retailer is doubling its efforts for the follow-up next year.

Aiming to fill the enormous void left by the defunct PhotoPlus Expo that used to take place annually in New York City, B&H is presenting the inaugural Bild Expo at the famed Javits Center in New York City on September 6 and 7.

The PhotoPlus Expo in New York City won't take place until late October, but companies are already deciding whether or not to commit to going. First up: Olympus, who has officially pulled out of this year's show because of the ongoing pandemic.

The organizers of Photokina 2020 have finally announced what we expected all along: the 2020 trade show has been cancelled due to public health concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus. The show will not take place again until May 2022.

NAB 2020 has been cancelled. The National Association of Broadcasters has decided to follow in the footsteps of CP+, MWC, SWSX and others by cancelling the 2020 expo in April in the interest of "keeping the community safe and healthy."

Despite MWC, then CP+, and now other major expos like them being cancelled due to fears about the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus, the organizers of Photokina 2020 have announced that "there is no reason to cancel at this stage" and that the show will go on as planned.

Last week, Fuji Rumors reported that Fujifilm would not be attending Photokina 2020, but the report cited no official sources and neither Photokina nor Fujifilm had made any such announcement. Over the past week, PetaPixel was able to confirm this information with official sources from both Photokina and Fujifilm.

Photokina is still the world's leading imaging expo, but changes to its structure and a struggling industry may be pushing participants away. In a press release published to the expo's website, the trade show's organizer Koelnmesse revealed that Nikon, Leica and Olympus have all chosen to skip Photokina 2020.

Within a few short days, thousands of photographers will descend en masse upon that neon playground known as Las Vegas for WPPI’s annual conference and expo. The conference is held at the MGM Resort, or The Emerald City as I like to call it.

The MGM is located directly across the street from another resort featuring a fake skyline of New York complete with a fake Statue of Liberty. Across from that is a fake castle, down the road one way is a fake Egyptian Pyramid, and down the road the other way is a fake Eiffel Tower and volcano. Now, first time attendees of the conference can be a little overwhelmed, not just with the fakeness, but with all the things to do while at WPPI. You want to make the most of your time, and with so many options, you need a guide.
