Reviewer Consensus
Mediocre
Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8 delivers sharp, high-contrast imagery with a solid build that appeals to those seeking a standard prime. That said, the lens is difficult to justify given its high price point and the presence of more affordable, equally capable alternatives.

The Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8 is capable of delivering the high quality results that we associate with this brand.
-
The Touit 32mm f/1.8 is a hard one to recommend nowadays, when they are so many great native and third-party lens options available…
-
It pulsed the most; I found that I got more focus misses with it than I did with the others.
-
This Zeiss lens is not bad, but it is really overpriced and in the face of its competition, I really can't recommend it.
-
With the current price tag I don’t think this lens will be hugely popular either among the Fujifilm or the Sony system users.
-
When it comes to overall resolution on these lenses, first off, the 32mm wide open, beautiful. I'd have no problem using this lens as a 50mm equivalent 1.8 for street shooting.
-
The Zeiss Touit 1.8/32 is a fast, sharp lens for Sony and Fujifilm mirrorless cameras, but it's more expensive than the competition.
-
The Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8 Planar T is a very good lens, but it falls short of exceptional. That makes it incredibly hard to recommend in lieu of the Fuji XF 35mm f/1.4.
-
So bottom line: The Zeiss Touit 32 1.8 is a fantastic lens with superb build and a smooth pro feel. BUT, the Fuji 35 1.4 is optically just as good with slightly smoother bokeh.
-
I love this lens from its design to its image quality and bokeh.
-
The AF system of this lens is outdated, it isn’t slow but it tends to hunt a bit and you can definitely hear it.
-
You quickly get used to how to get around the focus issues because the image quality is incredible.
-
The Zeiss Touit 32mm F1.8 is a fantastic choice for anyone who needs a standard lens for their system or even for someone who is interested in a one lens only kit [...] It’s small, fast, quiet, and produces fantastic photos.
-
I’ll say it’s my favourite lens to date. Great for travel, cityscape and portrait as well. It has its flaws, but the images it produces are beautiful.
